Professor, Doctor of technical science. Head of Department since 1990. Author of more than 100 scientific and teaching publications.
Areas of research: elaboration of decision-making support models and algorithms in the hierarchical system management of development problems; problems of making decisions coordination; simulation technique; system optimization. At present time M.D. Godlevsky also is:
- deputy head of Computer Science Commission of Ministry of Education and Science Science and Methodic Committee;
- member of natural sciences, informatics and mathematics advisory committee of the Ukraine State Accreditation Commission;
- deputy head of Ukraine Higher Certifying Commission particularized council D64.050.07 in the NTU ‘KPI’, member of Ukraine Higher Certifying Commission particularized council D64.062.01 in the National Aerospace University ‘KAI’;
- head of seminar for thesis examination on 05.13.06 Computer-Aided Management Systems and Progressive Information Technologies speciality;
- member of NTU ‘KPI’ methodic and international committees;
Under his direction at the Department:
- entrants testing system was developed;
- abroad probation periods of Department post-graduates and lectures and abroad pre-diploma and scientific practice of students became customary;
- 7 thesises on candidate degree was defended;
- were created schools of thought on complex technical and economic systems development management;
- new area Software Engineering was founded;
on faculty of informatics and management:
- system of raising the level of faculty of informatics and management students’ foreign language skill;
- Information Technologies Center was founded.
