On August 5th, within the framework of international project MASTIS there was a meeting about discussing the future competencies of graduates of master’s program “information systems”.
It will be created according to the program ERASMUS + MASTIS “Creation of modern master’s program in the field of information systems”, which funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European (http://mastis.pro/).
Participants of the event: lecturers of NTU “KhPI” (Ph.D., as.prof. of SEMIT department Olga Cherednichenko) and S. Kuznets KhNUE, CEO of Raccoon Gang, chairman of the educational committee of Kharkiv IT Cluster Aleksey Radchenko, the commercial director of Agilites, member of Kharkiv IT Cluster Dmitry Zamura, director of human resources and quality management of company “1C-Rarus Kharkiv” Alex Krut’ko, company executives of SoftPro Igor and Yuri Golobrodsky Vitovsky.
As a result, the participants agreed on the need to form a better understanding of the expected competencies of graduates of the master’s program of information systems. Data collection forms, polls, interviews and panel presentations can contribute to the successful implementation of this. Only on the basis of this foundation further productive interaction between representatives of higher education and the IT industry is possible, which is the ultimate aim of the educational project of the European Union in the field of IT – MASTIS “Creation of modern master’s program in the field of information systems”.
